Bayelsa United stunned the home supporters early in the match when Ofem Nneoyi broke through on goal in the fifth minute before calmly finishing past goalkeeper Adebiyi Obassa.
However, Remo Stars responded strongly before halftime as Alex Oyowah powered home a header in the 40th minute to level the contest.

Rivers United Keep NPFL Title Race Alive
In Bauchi, Rivers United kept pressure on league leaders Rangers International after an entertaining 3-2 victory over Wikki Tourists.
The game at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium produced end-to-end action as Jonathan Mairiga gave Wikki Tourists the lead in the 21st minute.
Rivers United fought back through Handsome Surveyor before Imamu Bala restored Wikki’s advantage shortly after halftime.
The visitors refused to give up in the NPFL title race as Chijioke Mbaoma equalized once again before Taofeek Otaniyi scored a dramatic late winner in the 85th minute.
The defeat confirmed Wikki Tourists’ relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Rangers Move Closer to NPFL Title
Rangers International moved a step closer to winning the NPFL title after defeating Bendel Insurance 2-1 in Enugu.
Godwin Obaje scored twice for Rangers while Alex Oweilayefa found the net for Bendel Insurance.
Despite the victory, the NPFL title race remains open heading into the final round of fixtures.
Rangers will face Ikorodu City on the final day while Rivers United host Katsina United in another crucial encounter.

Shooting Stars boosted their chances of securing continental football after a narrow 1-0 victory over Barau FC.
Lucky Emmanuel scored the winning goal in the 41st minute as Shooting Stars climbed to third place on the NPFL table.
Meanwhile, Ikorodu City suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat away to Katsina United.
Jamilu Yusuf scored twice for Katsina United while Azeez Falolu and Daniel Agara also got on the scoresheet in an impressive performance.
NPFL Relegation Battle Intensifies
The NPFL relegation battle remains tense despite important victories for Kano Pillars and Kwara United.
Rabiu Ali converted a first-half penalty to give Kano Pillars a vital 1-0 victory over Warri Wolves.
Kwara United also boosted their survival hopes after Bright Babatunde scored twice in a 2-0 victory against Enyimba.
